Blackberry Apple Pie
My family has always loved apple pies. Normally we would eat it during the season of Norwegian apples around mid-september. Juicy red apples grown on the hillside of the beautiful fjords of Norway, or just a regular tree in someones garden. Since blackberries are ripe and in season at the same time I combine the two into this lovely pie.
Guacamole
A guacamole with some texture. Made fresh with a little bit kick to it. If the avocados is ripe, the guacamole is right!
Pepper Sauce
This pepper sauce is really a great addition to any dark meat meal. Specially when you serve fried or grilled beef and steaks. I’ve also tested it out with turkey so it’ll bring something extra to the table.

Breakfast for every morning
Honey Glazed Ham
A classic delicious breakfast, lunch ham in the holiday of Christmas or Easter. Simple to make. Some can’t get enough of this in my family, so I guess it’s that good. I’m not that big fan to be honest.
Homemade Carrot Bread Rolls
Traditional Norwegian lunch would usually contain some kind of bread with cheese, eggs or some sugar filled paste. These rolls is in the high end of that scale and would be best with fresh boiled eggs, tomatoes and cucumber.
ChefNorway’s Norwegian Toast
This recipe is very similar to French toast, but in Norway we call them “arme riddere”. This translates to “brave knights” But it’s also served more as an evening snack than breakfast.
After I married an American girl I’ve understood that this kind of toast is far better as breakfast.
I’ve worked a couple of years to find my own recipe and measurements. And I think you’ll be very satisfied with this recipe.

The fruits dedicated to this dessert, makes a good combination of flavors. Sweet, sour, bitter all together in a colorful blend. A treat worth trying after a meal of brown stew.

ChefNorway’s Carrot Cake
This cake both look and taste amazing. Some say there could be a slight cream cheese frosting overdose but I just love it. Decorated with fresh strawberries and a few sprinkles of powdered sugar gives the carrot cake a wow factor that will make a sale every time.
Norwegian Marble Cake
Simple and delicious cake. The two combinations with chocolate sponge and vanilla sponge makes it great. In primary school classes was this always the first recipe they would start off with. It’s so easy that the least culinary kids would get a good experience out of baking this.
